Yikes! We were hit with a funky smell the moment we stepped in, like a damp old sock. I had to throw a towel over the pillow just to catch some Z's. C'mon Marriott, you can do better! We checked out first thing in the morning.

I stayed just one night and truly appreciated the friendly, helpful staff and the amazing closeness of Marion Square and the Charleston Museum, making it so easy to step out and immerse myself in the city’s rich history and beautiful green spaces, which is a must for any weekend traveler like me who loves walking through the city. the outdoor pool was a lovely bonus to unwind after my strolls but I wished the hotel had offered parking options, as it was a bit of a hassle to find nearby parking.

This place suits me perfectly with great amenities like wi-fi, a bar, and a fitness center. The staff were incredibly helpful to my elderly parents during our first stay, which I still cherish.
